All else eclipsed (14th Oct 2020)
When sun cuts throughÂ
The icey bite
When chill belies
The deep blue sky
When clouds float by
In singular form
When the ice underfoot
Submits to the warmthÂ
While wind chill cools
The blinded eyesÂ
The memories flood
From distant skies
My heart trips joy
From scenes recalled
On higher groundÂ
Where time lie pausedÂ
And thus I sitÂ
Quite drenched in thisÂ
Deluge of lifeÂ
All else eclipsedÂ
