Something (25th Nov 2020)

Something overflowing with delight

Something slightly loose to hold me tight

Something warm and wonderful that might

Just help me through this shadow of a night

Something to hold onto in a storm

Something quite magnificently forged

Something for the soul and if I call

To help me through these shadows on the wall

Something grand and garish, bold and brash

Something to illuminate the path

Something with compassion I could thank

To help me through this shadow and its dance

Something that may run in short supply

Something I could someday later try

Something to behold, sometime untie

To help me through this shadow and its lies
